Deuces Wild Poker Run - COBB Surgeline BBQ

The 'Dueces Wild Wild Run' is an organized event where participants, in mostly import and domestic modified vehicles must visit five to checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. The event has a time limit, however the participants are not timed—winning is purely a matter of chance.

We took out our 'Portland Speed Industries' Scion FR-S to complete the task and join in on the fun.

As a sponsor of the event, we offered up 3 gift certificates good for a Baseline Dyno Test here at our facility. All in which, three lucky people won at the raffle event!

The Poker run was a great drive through the hillsides west of Portland, with many different forms of vehicles from Domestics to Imports joining in on the 52 mile drive. At a checkpoint below, we decided to group together with this great looking 'Rocket Bunny' kitted BR-Z.

At another countryside checkpoint we got to check out an American classic as we waiting for our next card.

Even though we came close to getting a good hand, the cards just didn't play in our favor this time.

When we returned from our drive to COBB Tuning / Surgeline, there was an array of cars already setup for the annual car show and BBQ.

An RC car drift course was set up for attendees to play with during the meet.

This event was great overall and we ended up having a lot of fun driving in the Poker Run... We will continue our support next year especially as all of the proceeds go to a good cause!
