Drifting Test for Andrew Coomes

by Kyle Tomita on Thu, Apr 21st, 2011 | Client Vehicles, Motorsports

Andrew Coomes was an instructor at Evergreen Drift School this past weekend in Monroe, WA. This event gave Andrew the chance to give back to the drifting community as an instructor but also gave him a chance to test his car before the 2011 ProAm season.

This season will bring several changes for the Andrew's LS2 powered 240SX. One major change will be going from an accusump to a dry sump oil system.

The ARE dry sump tank is located under the dash on the passenger side. It is tucked far enough under to not inconvenience the passenger.

Ryan Davis of Yaer Productions came down film this private test session.

Andrew Coomes sliding his V8 powered 240 around. Throughly testing the dry sump system with donuts and drifting around the parking lot.

While Andrew was drifting, Ryan Davis was doing what he does best, filming. He gets up real close to the drifting 240 to get the footage.

And here is the fruits of his labor.
