Rob Primo stops by PSI on the way to ASB2012

by Kyle Tomita on Fri, Oct 19th, 2012 | John Reed Racing, On The Dyno, Tuning

Newly licensed Formula D driver Rob Primo stopped by the shop on the way down to All-Star Bash 2012 at Willow Springs International Raceway.  He was stopping by to have his car retuned and ready for the event.  Also a large supply of Falken tires were drop shipped and waiting for him.

For ASB 2012, the car was retuned to run on E85.  Also, Rob will not be using NOS for the event.  During tuning, one of the intank fuel pumps went out and Rob swapped it out on the dyno.

John Reed tuned the car with an AEM EMS.  After tuning, this setup put down 609 whp and 478 ft-lbs of torque.

Here is the dyno video of the run,

Sully of SullyLife is joining Rob Primo on the trip to ASB 2012 to document the event.  We wish we could make the drive down too, but we will just have to wait to check out coverage from Sully.  If you are in the area, check out Rob Primo and his 2JZ powered S14.
