As a supporter for Slammed Navigator, we are proud to announce that the app has been released for Android, and shortly for the iPhone.

For those who have not heard of this app before, their website sums it up nicely for you.

"Slammed Navigator is a navigation application specifically built for lowered vehicles who have difficulty getting from place to place while avoiding potholes, uneven roads, bumps and more."

You should be using the Slammed Navigator app "if you've ever scraped going over a speed bump, bottomed out, or possibly caught your frame and gotten stuck then you know how difficult it can be to plan out your route to a destination while avoiding all the imperfections in the road along the way. Slammed Navigator attempts to ease your navigation worries by providing you with real time information on local road conditions, potential road hazards, and more."

Slammed Navigator is a free app developed from multiple platforms by a group of enthusiats in the Seattle area.  The app is free and does not have advertisements.

Here are some of their other supporters,

Whether you have a lowered car or just want to help out the community, the Slammed Navigator is a must have app.  Download it on your phone and start helping the slammed community today.

This last weekend Andrew went down to Portland International Raceway for the Drift Crown series.  He wanted to get in a little track time before his next professional event.  We recently installed a one-way differential to replace the spool one from last season.

Andrew also had the chance to use his new dual brake caliper setup.

This past weekend, we were fortunate to have nice weather.  A few of us from PSI made it down to Woodburn Dragstrip for Woodburn Drags 2012 - Round 1.  We were there to support one of our own.  Ken, our engine builder, machinist, and consultant, competes in the Sport Compact Pro class.  He normally drives his twin-turbo Toyota Supra that runs 10s.

However, his car was not ready for Round 1 because he has been busy working on engines for us.

As many of you know, those who keep up with Formula Drift that is, Robbie Nishida's new Lexus SC was not ready for the Streets of Long Beach but he drove the Nissan S13.5 from last season.

On the dyno, we have not one but two Nissan 350Z's.  These Z's came in for tuning with UpRev Osiris.  We have been tuning several cars with the UpRev Osiris system lately but this is the first time we had two on the same day.  However, with the increase in the popularity of UpRev tuning, this probably won't be the last.

Each of these Z's had a few upgrades but were running the stock tune.

Recently, we had a pair of Lexus ISF's from California stop by the shop.  One of the owners was a good friend who moved back to California last year.  We built and tuned his previous car, a turbo Honda S2000.  He now owns an Lexus ISF and he wanted us to install a set of Sikky Headers.

On The Dyno, we have a 2010 Nissan 370Z.  This Z has an aftermarket intake and a Fast Intentions exhaust system.  After the installation of the parts, the Z was tuned with UpRev Osiris.  After tuning, this setup produced 305 whp and 248 ft-lbs of torque.

Here is the dyno run video,

The UpRev Osiris system works on many Nissan and Infiniti models.  Feel free to contact us for more information about having your car tuned.

This upcoming Saturday will be Round 1 of the Evergreen Drift ProAm Series at Evergreen Speedway.

The Evergreen Drift is the Northwest's only sanctioned Formula Drift Pro-Am licensing series.  Evergreen Drift was the starting series for ten Formula Drift licensed drivers.  Five of those ten drivers had their cars tuned at PSI.

On The Dyno, we have a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1.  A stock ZR-1 is a pretty impressive car with its supercharged LS9.  However, this is no ordinary ZR-1 but has had a few custom upgrades.

In case you missed Formula Drift's 2012 season opener on the Streets of Long Beach, the major online media outlets have got you covered. Part of our team made the trip down to Long Beach, but they were busy working on the cars and did not get many photos. Working in the pits, gives you a different perspective on the event. We were searching our favortie online media outlets and found these great articles about the event. We wanted to share them with you.
