Just returned from another trip to Thailand for the second round of the Thailand Drift Series.
Tuerck invited some of the FD drivers to Pats Acres Racing Complex to film an episode of "Tuerck'd," which airs on Network A.
A recap of our trip to FD Seattle from a mixture of sources.
We recently hosted the PacNW Supra Nationals dyno day here at the shop.
The past couple weeks have been really busy around here. With Formula Drift Atlanta coming up and the Oregon Trail Rally going on at Portland International Raceway, we saw a lot of race teams around the shop.
April 4th-5th was the season opener at Long Beach for Formula Drift 2014.
Our 2nd year as a sponsor of the Sixth annual 'Deuces Wild Poker Run' held at COBB Tuning - Surgeline
The 'Dueces Wild Wild Run' is an organized event where participants, in mostly import and domestic modified vehicles must visit five to checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. The event has a time limit, however the participants are not timed—winning is purely a matter of chance.
Attending our first 'Cars and Coffee' meet in the Portland Speed Industries Scion FR-S
Cars and Coffee is a weekly Saturday morning gathering in Portland, Oregon where hundreds of proud drivers congregate to kick tires and have a cup of coffee. There is something for everyone to enjoy; classics, exotics, concepts, hotrods, motorcycles and motor-sport.
This past Saturday was the last open drift session at PARC for 2012. Since it was going to be the last event, we wanted to bring down the most cars we could. The Friday before, we spent the night getting the cars ready.
There was about eight of us and we brought out five cars. It is good to take a break and just enjoy driving. Here are some photos of everyone having some fun.
This past weekend we went out to Pat's Acres Racing Complex, PARC, for some grassroots drifting. We were lucky to have a rain-free day in Oregon. Kyle Pollard brought out his FD competition car, a Nissan Silvia, to have some fun during the off season.
Congratulations to Kyle Pollard for winning the drift event at inMotion.

Pollard competed in the F20c powered Toyota Corolla that he earned his Formula Drift license in.
This past weekend was Labor day weekend and the owner's of PARC held a two-day drift event. Kyle Pollard took this opportunity to get in more seat time before Formula D Round 7 at Irwindale. Round 6 was Kyle's first event running Achilles Radial tires. Brian Hartsock, crew chief, changed the alignment setup to give the car more grip. Here are a few shots of Kyle burning up Achilles rubber.
The two Formula D teams that are based out of PSI, have returned or are on the way back from Vegas. Kyle Pollard returned early this morning after a long drive.
He did not make it as far as he would have liked but he still got in some good runs. Here is a shot from Chris Minshall,
Most of the PSI team is out in Las Vegas, NV for Round 6 is Formula D. This event is different from all the rest because it is held at night. Kyle Pollard and Andrew Coomes both left with their teams early in the week to make the drive.
Brian Hartsock, Ashley Durham, and Zach Leitzke accompanied Kyle on the long drive in the PSI truck and trailer. They stopped for gas before getting to California, but they ran out gas near Area 51 and had to take the ruckus to get gas. But after sitting in the desert for a few hours, they got back on the road and made it to Vegas.
A couple of weekends ago, a few of us from the shop headed up to Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA for the NHRA Northwest Nationals. A few weeks before this event, we made it down to Woodburn Dragstrip to watch the Outlaw 10.5 1/8th mile drags. Those cars were fast but the dragsters at the Northwest Nationals were even faster.
Courtney Force ended up taking the win that weekend.
This past Wednesday, Perrin and Alta Performance had their Hump Day Drive In. After work a few of us headed down their to check it out.
They had several of their cars out front.
A couple of weekends ago was the annual air show at the Hillsboro International Airport. During the week, we could see the planes flying over practicing for the weekend. After work on Friday, we went down to check it out. We usually go during the weekend but this year some of us were heading up to Pacific Raceway for the NHRA drag races. We got there as the sun was going down, but we still got to see some planes fly. The main thing that sets Friday apart is the fireworks display. Here are a few photos we got.
This past weekend our photographer went out to Woodburn Dragstrip for the Night of Fire. One of our friends, Wally, brought down his twin-turbo Ford Mustang to compete in the Last Man Standing Outlaw 10.5 competition. There was a large, $10k payout and it attracted a lot of big competition.
This Formula D season is turning out to be a very competitive one. The top 3 are within 15 points of each other. At this past weekends events, there were several upsets as many of the top contenders were knocked out early. Once again, the Seattle event was sold out and there were a lot of fans in the stands and roaming the pits. As the popularity of drifting and FD continues to grow, so has our involvement.
Inside PSI several days before the Seattle event. There were a handful of FD drift cars being worked on.
After several hard fought battles, Vaughn Gittin Jr came out on top. Ryan Tuerck and Rhys Millen placed second and third, respectively.
With Formula Drift Seattle just around the corner, we having been busy getting several cars ready for that event. Currently there are six Formula D cars at the shop, Daigo Saito's, Robbie Nishida's, Ryan Tuerck's, Kyle Pollard's, Andrew Coomes', and Emmanuel Amandio's. This past weekend, Kyle Pollard and Andrew Coomes took advantage of an Open Drift event at Pat's Acres Racing Complex (PARC) to test out their cars. Both Kyle and Andrew's cars had some adjustments made to their suspension setups by Brian Hartsock. Here are some of the photos from PARC,
Last weekend, July 1st, Pat's Acres Racing Complex held an open drift. We sent down our photographer to cover this local event and get some footage of Kyle Pollard in the Nissan Silvia and another car. Upon first arrival, the amount of people already there was amazing. This was the largest turnout of both drivers and spectators.
Everyone recognizes the 550whp SR powered Silvia and Pollard put on a good show.
After finishing up in Meridian, ID, Kyle Pollard's journey with the Scion FR-S continued to Spokane, WA.
Above: We all made it to the hotel that was right near the track.

It may have been the last day in June, but the weather sure did not look like it. It rained off and on throughout the day but there was still a good turn out.
