The car in our lobby has changed once again. The 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle was taken out to make room for another American car. This time it is a Ford from 1933, a coupe named "Whiplash".
This is a multi-award winning car. Here is another shot of Whiplash.
Come down and check it out in our lobby. We don't know how long it will be staying.
We now have a different car in our showroom. We have gone away from the large displacement V8's and V10's and now a 4 cylinder sits in the lobby. However, what this car lacks in displacement, it makes up for in heritage and styling.
A 1958 Porsche Special 2500.
This Porsche is powered by a 2500cc Polo4.
We recently had this Porsche on our dyno.
Come down to PSI to check out this rare and very beautiful classic Porsche and the other cars that we are working on. At the time of this post, there is a supercharged methanol-fueled beast on the dyno. More on this in the future.
Cindi Lux's Dodge Viper Competition Coupe has left the lobby at PSI. It has been replaced with a 1968 Chevy Camaro. The circuit race car is replaced by this drag racer.
Under, or through the hood, sits a built Chevy 454 with an Weiand 8-71 blower on top. This blown big block setup generates over 900hp at the crank. To help you get down the quarter mile a little faster, there is a Nitrous system that can be jetted up to a 300 shot.
It has a parachute and rollcage, to ensure a safe pass down the strip.
This drag car runs in the Pro Street class. It has the interior and is a door slammer.
A pair of Kirkey seats replace the stock units. These light-weight seats and harnesses will keep you securely in.
The Camaro sits on Weld Racing wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. The rear tires have a 15" tire patch.
The owner is currently entertaining offers for this Camaro. Serious inquires please contact us for more information. The car is available for viewing in our lobby during normal business hours.
The V10 has been a popular choice for our lobby show piece lately. Previously, we have had a twin-turbo Viper SRT-10 and a twin-turbo Gallardo Superleggera. This time the V10 is not boosted with twins but is a naturally aspirated race V10.
This N/A V10 sits in the engine bay of Cindi' Lux's Viper Competition Coupe.
She has raced this car for a few seasons but she has moved on to an ACR-X Viper.
This car is currently available for purchase. Serious inquires please contact Jason Oefelein, at 503.431.1395.
Our lobby is once again graced with a pair of turbos. Last time, the turbos boosted a V10 in a 2006 Dodge Viper.
This time around the turbos are boosting a V10 in a Lamborghini. They are in a Gallardo Superleggera to be exact.
Like the Viper, this setup produces over 1000+whp. Since we like to constantly change things up here, this Lamborghini will soon be replaced by another V10 powered car. We will let you try to guess what the new car will be. Check back here to see if you were right.
Here is one more shot of the Superleggera,
We have a new addition to our lobby, a seven-eighths scale chopper. It joins the custom Chevy BelAir SS and Ducatti 1098 that already reside in the lobby.
This collaboration shows our level of fabrication and engineering capabilities. This scale chopper is powered by a four-stroke out of a Honda CRF250, which produces about 35hp. It is capable of reaching speeds of 70-80mph. Come down check it out in our lobby and get a tour of our facility.
What will replace the Cobra 460?
We have the pleasure of having this beautiful, award-winning, custom '57 BelAir SS in our showroom.
The colors of this showcar match perfectly in our showroom and lounge area. This car will be here for viewing for the next few months.
Todd is eager to embark on a new custom project, therefore this custom ‘57 BelAir SS is currently available for purchase. Serious inquiries please e-mail, Jason Oefelein at Jason@tunedbypsi.com.
For more information about this exquisite BelAir SS, visit their site, http://www.tri5.com/, which is filled with information of each aspect of the car and the build team. A very well put together website with a lot of valuable information.
We are fortunate to have a 1965 Bondurant Superformance Cobra in our showroom. This Cobra takes the place of the '32 Ford Roadster that had a brief stay in our showroom.
This particular Cobra has a 460 under the hood. We currently don't have performance numbers for this cobra because it spends its time on our showroom floor. We hope to have it on the dyno soon.
The ever changing scenry in the lobby of PSI keeps getting better and better.
This beautiful Ford GT now sits in our lobby. This factory supercharged car is a fine example of Ford engineering. This Ford GT replaces the Twin-Turbo Dodge Viper SRT-10 that was previously there.
The red car fits in nicely with PSI's colors.
