Just returned from another trip to Thailand for the second round of the Thailand Drift Series.
Tuerck invited some of the FD drivers to Pats Acres Racing Complex to film an episode of "Tuerck'd," which airs on Network A.
A recap of our trip to FD Seattle from a mixture of sources.
Jason, John Reed and Ryan Tuerck recently took a trip to Thailand to help Kiki Sak Nana build his S15 that he'll be running in Formula Drift Asia.
The past couple weeks have been really busy around here. With Formula Drift Atlanta coming up and the Oregon Trail Rally going on at Portland International Raceway, we saw a lot of race teams around the shop.
We have joined forces with Taper Pro USA, we run their products on our drift cars. Contact us for prices.
April 4th-5th was the season opener at Long Beach for Formula Drift 2014.
Wisefab has released some prototype aluminum front and rear knuckles for the FR-S platform. We will be testing these out on Ryan Tuerck's FR-S in the upcoming formula drift season.
Network A releases another Tuerck'd video, Oregon Trail Part 1.
In this episode, his FR-S gets a new Garrett turbo and tuning before heading to a mountain road. You can also see Rob Primo joining Tuerck on the mountain road. Stay tuned for the next episode, which will surely have more drifting.
Jeff Wolfson Racing recently announced that we will be joining his program for the 2014 Formula Drift season. (http://jeffwolfsonracing.com/2013/11/27/portland-speed-industries/)
Early this off-season, Wolfson picked up a 2013 Scion FR-S. Our contribution to the team will be the engine program and tuning. We will be using the experience we gained over the past couple of seasons with the 2JZ to create a competitive setup for Wolfson and his FR-S.
Wrecked Magazine picks up on the progress we have been recently doing on Ryan Tuerck's Scion FR-S for the 2014 Formula Drift season. Here is the link to their post. During the off-season, we swapped out the Garrett GTX4294r for a new Garrett GTX4088r.
Our 2nd year as a sponsor of the Sixth annual 'Deuces Wild Poker Run' held at COBB Tuning - Surgeline
The 'Dueces Wild Wild Run' is an organized event where participants, in mostly import and domestic modified vehicles must visit five to checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. The event has a time limit, however the participants are not timed—winning is purely a matter of chance.
Check out this video of an interview with Ryan Tuerck at Eastern European Drift Circuit. Tuerck finished second in a HGK Racing V8 powered tube chassis BMW.
Maxxis Tires releases another Yaer Productions video of Ryan Tuerck at FD Florida.
Leaving Road Atlanta, Palm Beach International Raceway is the next stop for Formula D. Drivers and teams were welcomed by rain when they arrived at the track. With rain coming during competition in Atlanta, everyone was hoping for clear weather for qualifying. The weather held out and Justin Pawlak emerged on top with a qualifying score of 94.7.
Ryan Tuerck qualified 13th with a score of 76.8 in his Retaks Maxxis Tires Air Force Scion FR-S. Jason Oefelein and Brian Hartsock flew out early to get the car ready at Enjuku Racing. They got it ready and Ryan killed it.

With Formula D Palm Beach coming up next weekend, check out this Maxxis Tires Ryan Tuerck Round 2 video.
Some of you might have seen it already, but it is worth another watch. This is the second video that Yaer Productions has produced for Maxxis Tires. It really captures the emotion of the event. We can't wait for this coming weekend. Jason Oefelein and Brian Hartsock are on their way to Enjuku Racing to prepare the car for Palm Beach.
This past Sunday, May 27th, at Woodburn Dragstrip was Import Face-Off. The weather started off bad but evetually cleared up long enough for the races. Out representing the shop was Kyle in his Mitsubishi Evo that Jason had tuned the previous week. After a few changes from last time, including a larger front mount turbo setup, the car is put down 890 whp at 48 pounds of boost.
On his first one, he rolled into the launch but managed a 142 mph trap speed.
Mike Kojima, of MotoIQ, gives us a nerd's eye view on Ryan Tuerck's Formula D Scion FR-S.
In the article, he provides a great overview of the car and the components that make it a competative drift car. Enjoy the article, http://www.motoiq.com/magazine_articles/id/3081/nerds-eye-view-ryan-tuercks-2jz-powered-fr-s.aspx
Summer is here and the Formula D season has started. Last weekend was round 2 at Road Atlanta. They compete on a section of the track. Jason Oefelein and Brian Hartsock are travelling this year to support Ryan Tuerck and the Retaks Scion FR-S we built for him. Ryan made it to the Great 8, but was taken out by broken parts. The car was towed back to the pits after the event. It will be staying out on the East coast for the next two events. We will be flying out to get the car ready for Florida, but we can't wait to have it back on the West Coast for round 5.

While the team was out in Atlanta, GA, there was grassroots drifting going on at our local track in Canby, OR. Here are some photos from Pat's Acres Racing Complex.

Normally, several guys from the team would be at the local event drifting but FD takes priority. Kyle Pollard was getting the SR back into his missile car to prep for Evergreen Drift this coming weekend. If you are up at Evergreen this weekend, go out and support him. PARC normally has an open drift event every month and we will be making it to many more.
Some might remember PARC from the video of Ryan Tuerck testing out his 2JZ Scion FR-S. If you don't, then here is the video
Last weekend was the Oregon Trail Rally. It was a Rally America event and a regional competition. The week prior, we had two Rally America Teams, FY Racing and VanWay Racing, using the shop as a homebase.
Above: The FY Racing team working on their Subaru WRX STi, while we were working on getting Ryan Tuerck's Retaks Maxxis Tires Scion FR-S ready for Formula D Atlanta.
This past weekend, rally invaded PSI. Two major Rally America teams arrived on Friday and have been using PSI as the home base, while they prepare their cars for the Oregon Rally this coming weekend.
While the rally prep was going on, we were working to get Ryan Tuerck's Scion FR-S ready for Formula D Atlanta.
During practice on the Streets of Long Beach, Ryan Tuerck got to first test the true power of the 2JZ powered Scion FR-S we built him.
It has come to that time again, the start of the Formula Drift series. The series starts on the streets of Long Beach. For the past few years, PSI's involvement in FD has slowly increased. From working with Andrew Coomes and Kyle Pollard, we have expanded to work with many other drivers and teams. This season we are working with veterans like Ryan Tuerck, Robbie Nishida, Dean Kearney, and the Brides Racing team, and rookies like Rob Primo and Chris Jeanneret.
