Kyle Pollard and Chop left the shop this week to embark on a 4 day road trip with Scion and the new FR-S. Scion is doing regional training, in Meridian, ID and Spokane, WA, for the Scion FR-S. Kyle Pollard was asked to join them on this road trip to give a drift demostration. They wanted him to join them after seeing him drift at Portland International Raceway, PIR. Kyle got a few runs in before the driveshaft in his Formula D Nissan Silvia broke. Scion saw that Kyle had talent but needed a car. They offered up a Scion FR-S for him to drift and of course Kyle jumped at this opportunity. He has always liked the AE86 and was happy to see them bring it back in the form of the FR-S.

Since that first meeting, both Kyle and Scion were interested in working together in the future.
Joe Ayala came back to PSi to have his car tuned before Drift Evolution and this time it had a GT28 turbo.
Jason Oefelein once again tuned Joe's car with an Apexi PowerFC. This new setup produced 290 whp and 283 ft-lbs of torque.

It was a late night tonight working on cars.
Kyle Pollard and Brian Hartsock were working hard to get Kyle's Nissan Silvia K's ready for drifting tomorrow. After the last event, Kyle needed to swap in an HKS 5-speed sequential transmission.
Brian Hartsock, Kyle's crew chief, took it upon himself to rewire the Silvia. Brian is working on a wiring kit solution for the Nissan S13. Kyle's car was a perfect prototype car.
This past week we were fortunate to have a 2013 Scion FR-S on loan from Scion.
The Scion FR-S was built as a joint venture between Toyota and Subaru. It shares the 2.0 L Flat-4 Toyota-Subaru "D-4S" with the Subaru BRZ and Toyota FT-86.
One of our client's brought in his 1992 Nissan Sentra with a SR20DET.

When it first came in, the engine was hurt. The engine was pulled out and sent off to the machine shop. While the engine was out, the engine bay was prepped for its return.
A client recently sent his 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT to us to have an Edelbrock supercharger installed.

First off, we want to congratulate Daigo Saito for his first place finish, in his Bridges Racing Achilles Radial Lexus SC430.

Last week Friday, May 25th, we went down to Portland International Raceway for a track day with the Lotus Club.
We made the trip down to PIR because we worked on a few of the cars that were attending this track day, including the a pair of Lotus Exige's and Radium Engineering Turbocharged Elise's.
